Baby Sister… Newborn Session | San Diego Newborn Photography Artist
Introducing baby girl, Sarah! This sweet girl came to the studio for her newborn session with her big sister, and we had a great time photographing this sweet duo! Although we focused on baby girl, we did get some sweet shots of Miss Hannah with her baby sister during our session. You already know I have a sweet spot in my heart for sisters… I have two daughters of my own, that’s why, hehe 🙂
We had a great time hanging out in the studio with big sister, mom and grandma too! Sweet baby girl, Sarah had a bit of reflux during our session. Mom and I worked around posing her to help with the discomfort she feels from the acid in her teeny tummy. With most babies, there is a preference in how they are posed – some love to be swaddled, some love being posed on their tummies, some favor a particular direction in which they move their head… but when working with a baby with reflux, these preferences are made apparent quite easily. Often times, a baby with reflux is not too happy being laid flat on their backs. Having baby propped in a more upright position helps. Here is a bit more information from WebMD on reflux in newborn babies. We made sure to work around sweet Sarah’s comfort level, and made sure she was happy, sleepy and that he tummy was at rest before moving her onto her back for a few of our posed shots.
Here are a few images from sweet girl Sarah’s newborn session… enjoy!
