Infant Photography Mini Sessions
A COUPLE OF RECENT MINI NEWBORN SESSIONS
I’m loving all of these sweet newborn babies that have been welcomed to the world recently. Infant photography is such my passion… I LOVE getting to snuggle these sweeties durning our time together, capturing their teeny features, freezing time for their parents… It goes so fast, and being able to provide these memories for these families to have forever is something I LOVE to do. Anyhow, I have told myself that 2017 will be the year I get better about blogging… I really love spending my work time creating magic both behind the camera and the computer screen as I edit, but blogging is something I always seem to put on the back burner. This is the year, peeps! In my attempt to keep up with all of my amazingly beautiful and awesome clients I am doing a two-for-one post today 🙂
Here is beautiful baby girl, Isla. Welcome to the world, baby girl! It was a bit chilly during Isla’s mini newborn session, so we opted to stay indoors for our session and skip the outdoor potion of our session. Isla did great inside with the heater on to keep her warm. This cutie pie loved the swaddled poses, so we kept her nice and comfy in a few different colors and textures… She gave us such a sweet little smile too 🙂 And don’t you LOVE her name? If I were to have another girl (I already have two), Isla would be at the top of the list <3
Welcome to the world, baby boy, Noa! This handsome little guy had the coolest head of hair! Adorable! We decided to head outdoors for the first portion of our mini newborn session. I am loving these outdoor newborn sessions lately, and the blooms in my garden are so colorful thanks to all of our recent San Diego rain! I picked the are of my garden with the blue flowers – it was a perfect little spot for this sweet boy. After our outdoor shots, we headed back into the studio for some beanbag and flokati shots. Baby Noa was happy about this – as you can see from his adorable smile 🙂 Oh PS: check out the blue and neutral curly layers that Noa is laying on in his outdoor portraits… Those are DIY curly layers, and I have put together a quick YouTube video tutorial for you fellow newborn photographers in case you want to give it a try 🙂
Stay tuned for next week’s blog post…. hint, hint… it involves horses, a wildflower field and two adorable eight year old beautiful girlies! 🙂
You are a master at newborn photos! I don’t have kids yet, but when I do I’m calling you for sure!!
