Introducing sweet baby girl, Khaleesi! She is almost 3 months old now… yep, I am that delayed in blogging!
I first met this beautiful newborn’s parents for our maternity session earlier this summer, and I was so excited for them as they beamed with excitement over the upcoming birth of their first child. You can take a peek at gorgeous mama, Sherree’s maternity’s session in the Hallway of Trees, here.
It was so fun to meet and photograph this adorable, and super smiley sweet girl.

I love getting to know each individual newborn that comes into the studio. Some babies come into the studio and are so awake, alert and ready to party, some are zonked out from the get-go. Although I have somewhat of a workflow that I try to stick with in order to get a variety of poses and images, ultimately, it’s up to the 7 pound bundle of sweetness. My babies call the shots, and I work around their comfort. Some just love to be comforted by the feel of a nice, tight swaddle, some prefer to lay on their tummies or sides due to reflux, and some newborns sleep the entire session, and are happy with all different positions and posing. No matter what baby’s preference is, I love them all, and I especially love getting creative with working specifically with that sweet little one right in front of me 🙂
