The Best Time to Book Your La Jolla Newborn Photography Session

The ideal time to photograph your newborn is during the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are naturally sleepier and more comfortable in softly curled poses.  Because my calendar often fills several months in advance, most families reserve their newborn session during the second trimester. Once your baby arrives, your session date is adjusted based on your actual delivery date to ensure the perfect timing.  If your baby has already arrived and is over a few weeks old, don’t worry. Beautiful newborn portraits can still be created beyond the traditional newborn window, and every session is customized around your baby’s unique personality and stage of development.
